Formely Pony, now Boney. Two weeks ago, this venue hosted Four Tet, a couple of weeks before that, Bonobo. One of Melbourne’s best places to catch international future beats acts will be hosting one of America’s finest electronic acts Kingdom this Friday.
Kingdom has achieved a lot of success and positive critique for 2013’s Vertical XL (as reviewed by Haarp Media here), and is now following up on this at the insanely awesome Red Bull Academy sessions, whose past inductees include such talent as Flako and Daedalus.
Supporting Kingdom are Oscar Key Sung (live), Michael Ozone, Air Max ‘97, Mexicali and ESC DJ’s.
Kingdom’s shit-hot jam and Dummy Mag’s “Best track of 2013”, ’Bank Head’ (featuring Kalela) is set to be the drop that will tear the roof off Boney, so make sure you obtain your free RSVP to bear witness. It will be packed out, so get in early to avoid disappointment and RSVP as soon as you read this.
Starts 9pm. Boney, 68 Little Collins St, Melbourne CBD. Free (RSVP Essential)!
