UK’s Dave Seaman has carved himself a big ol’ niche in the techno scene as an international DJ, a feat many people have tried and not succeeded at. But wait, there’s more.

Seaman (behave yourself) was also editor of international electronic magazine Mixmag and is a member of DMC publishing, as well as dropping a zillion mixtapes for Renaissance and Global Underground, has produced for the likes of Kylie Minogue and Pet Shop Boys, and founded label Audio Therapy.

So do think twice before laughing at his unfortunate surname, he’s obviously silenced the sniggering critics and bullies, am I right?

Darkbeat present him this Friday at New Guernica, and supporting him are Jamie Stevens, Rollin Connection, Chris Meehan, Jayson Holden, Troy Marc & Studious, Walter Juan, Flow, Andrew Slattery, Chris Lath and GabiM

Tickets: moshtix.com.au

Starts 10pm. New Guernica, 322 Little Collins StreetMelbourne CBD. $38.40.
