Rogue Magnetic Sound will be bringing heat through their speakers when Lotek hits Horse Bazaar with the Phunk event.
Former North London and current Melbourne cat Lotek hit high with his hand in production of Roots Manuva’s Brand New Second Hand and the classic Run Come Save Me, before hitting a home-run with his hand in Speech Debelle’s Mercury award-winning Speech Therapy.
Now expect Lotek to be playing some of the new licks that he’s trying on with reggae, hip-hop and world musicians as he devises world peace through music in his lab.
Supporting Lotek is homeboy Rolex Bifta of the Lowkey click, 100% vinyl, no bullshit hip-hop glass in your ear, laid flat with trap foundations and eclectic blends from DJ S-Tea. Apparently there’s some good stuff being given away by graphic head OPM Design too.
All this for free, for you.
Saturday 27 July 2013, Starts 8pm, Horse Bazaar, 397 Little Lonsdale Street, Melbourne. Free!
