Up until recently, the venue for the latest Espionage (presented by forward-thinking and cutting-edge music crew The Operatives), has been shrouded in secrecy. Recently, news was leaked on the event’s Facebook page that the event would take place at new warehouse-style venue, Howler Melbourne.
The Operatives take pride in bringing the best in genre-busting contemporary electronic music to Australia.
Headliners for this round of Espionage include Sepalcure (a collaboration between Machinedrum and Praveen/Benoit), DJ Rashad (world’s #1 Chicago footwork DJ), Jon Convex (awesome footwork/techno DJ), Spikey Tee (sound system veteran since 13 years of age), and Estere (a NZ girl with an MPC called Lola).
Expect lots of futuristic sonics, neon synths, tough beats, raw footwork, tribal dubs and banging nu-techno.
Support is given by Fugitive, Nam, Hooves, JPS, Able8, Lady Banton and many more. Tickets are available online for $40, with a 2-for-1 special available at the time of this publication.
