The Upbeats are one of NZ’s top drum and bass acts, which is saying quite a lot considering New Zealand toddlers are seemingly played drum and bass nursery rhymes in the crib. They’re coming to Melbourne this Friday, to promote and celebrate the release of their new album “Primative Technique.
The event is on at that ol’ Brown Alley, and is presented by DnB specialists Broken Beat Assault and Also featured at this event is funk and glitch master K+Lab (backed by Analog MC), another kiwi brought over by the forward-thinking Whomp! crew.
Supporting acts include Safire, Kodiak Kid, Johnny Hooves, Finna, Snareophobe, Altruism, Little Massive. There are 100 early bird tickets available, and the price goes up at the door.
